New Focused Product Additions for Research

New Focused Product Additions for Research

Coming Mid-to-Late Summer:

At Academic Chem Lab, we’re excited to announce a new chapter in our ongoing mission to supply high-quality materials for laboratory research purposes only. Our upcoming additions to the ACL catalog will include:

  • Reconstitution Solutions (2 sizes & formats)

  • Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) in liquid research form

  • Methylene Blue (1% Solution and Powdered Raw Form)

  • GHK-Cu Topical-Use Only Raw Material & Cosmetic-Grade Formulas

We’ve recently secured a trusted manufacturing partner after an extensive eight-month research and comparison process involving four separate labs. The results have exceeded our expectations in both quality and consistency—and we’re thrilled to be making these materials available soon.

🔬 Important Note: All products discussed below are intended strictly for laboratory research use. They are not for human or veterinary use, and any application outside of controlled research settings is not endorsed or supported by Academic Chem Lab. It is the end user's responsibility to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations before purchasing or handling these materials.

💧 New and Improved Reconstitution Solutions

We are introducing two sterile solution formats for research reconstitution purposes:

  • 3ml clear glass vial (classic format)

  • 10ml amber glass vial with a light-protective coating and high-grade silicone multi-use stopper

The silicone stoppers used in our 10ml format are more durable and antimicrobial than standard butyl rubber options. They are designed to tolerate multiple piercings and are compatible with high-temperature sterilization protocols, making them an excellent choice for lab environments concerned with sterility and contamination control.

Despite the upgraded components (and an eye-catching name like “Ultra Gold”), these will be priced ml-for-ml lower than our standard 3ml solution—because better quality shouldn’t mean higher cost.

🧪 Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12 – Research Grade)

Our Methylcobalamin (also known as methyl-B12) will soon be available in research-grade liquid format in a sealed clear vial with a silicone stopper. This form of B12 is the naturally occurring and biologically active variant commonly studied for its role in metabolic pathways and cellular support.

Academic and industrial researchers have shown interest in studying Methylcobalamin in the context of:

  • Cellular energy cycles

  • Nervous system structure and function

  • Redox reactions and methylation

  • Nutrient delivery mechanisms in biological models

Again, this product is not intended for human consumption or therapeutic use. It is sold exclusively for laboratory and investigative research.

⚗️ Methylene Blue – Solution & Powder for Laboratory Use

We are pleased to announce that our Methylene Blue will be available in two research formats:

  • 1% Solution (lab-prepared and filtered)

  • Raw powder form (sold by the gram)

Methylene Blue continues to be the subject of numerous scientific investigations for its broad range of potential applications in lab models, including but not limited to:

  • Mitochondrial studies

  • Photodynamic experiments

  • Biological staining

  • Oxidative stress models

  • Cognitive function in non-human trials

  • Research into neuroprotective mechanisms

As with all ACL products, Methylene Blue is sold strictly for research purposes only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

✨ GHK-Cu Topical Raw Materials & Cosmetic-Grade Formulas

Currently in development, our new GHK-Cu topical materials will include:

  • Raw powdered GHK-Cu (research-grade)

  • Cosmetic-grade formulations including lotions, creams, and serums for external use only

Studies using in vitro and ex vivo models have suggested potential cosmetic and biological interest in GHK-Cu, including:

  • Enhanced skin elasticity and clarity

  • Reversal of visible aging effects

  • Support for skin barrier repair

  • Reduction in photodamage and hyperpigmentation

  • Improved wound response mechanisms in lab models

Our topical GHK-Cu line will be clearly labeled as not for injection, not for internal use, and will be marketed strictly for external application in cosmetic and laboratory settings.
