International Shipping Policy

Academic Chem Lab (ACL) • International Orders & Import Responsibility

This policy applies to all orders shipped outside the United States. By submitting an international order with Academic Chem Lab, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

Buyer Assumes Full Import Responsibility

The buyer is 100% responsible for determining whether any item is permitted to be imported into their country, region, or local jurisdiction.
The buyer is responsible for all import taxes, VAT/GST, tariffs, duties, brokerage fees, handling fees, and customs-related charges.
The buyer is responsible for all customs requirements including permits, licenses, import documentation, declarations, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
Any delays caused by customs reviews, inspections, holds, or local carrier processing are the responsibility of the buyer.

No Replacement / No Refund for Seizures, Confiscations, or Holds

Once a package leaves our facility and is accepted by the carrier, the shipment is considered in transit. Academic Chem Lab does not replace or refund any portion of an international order for items that are: confiscated, seized, rejected, returned, delayed, or held by customs authorities, border agencies, or the destination country’s postal/courier system. All risks associated with international importing and clearance remain with the buyer.

Responsibility After Shipment Leaves Our Hands

After carrier acceptance, the buyer assumes full responsibility for timely and safe delivery, including coordination with the carrier and customs.
Tracking updates may be limited or delayed depending on the destination country and carrier handoffs.
If a package is returned to sender (where permitted), any reshipment fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

International Order Process (Required)

All international orders must be submitted through our International Order Form.
A valid email address is required for correspondence, invoice delivery, and order updates.
Orders submitted without a valid email address may be delayed or cancelled.

International Payment Terms (Invoice Only)

All international payments are processed via invoice only. Your invoice will include: (1) the product total and (2) the shipping cost, combined into a single grand total for payment. Shipping rates are calculated based on destination, package size/weight, and carrier availability.

Note: International transit times vary widely and are not guaranteed. We strongly recommend that buyers review their local import rules and contact their customs office or courier for guidance before ordering.
